Living a Life FILLED with Gratitude....

October 29- Gratitude...it is the time of year that we start thinking about being thankful.  Why does it take a weather change for us to be mindful of what we are grateful for?  I am unsure, but I love taking time with my family to chat about what we are truly thankful for.  It will be interesting to see how that list may have changed this year.  There are so many ways to show gratitude.

Here is an adorable link...https://paththroughthenarrowgate.com/thankful-turkey-craft/ to make your own turkey!

Another fun and simple project is thankful jar...

or writing what you are grateful for on a pumpkin that sits in the middle of your table!
It doesn't get easier than that!

However you decided to show gratitude and teach your children to be grateful is wonderful.  It is a great reminder that the weather does not have to change for us to show we are grateful.  Wouldn't be fantastic if we lived a life or gratitude every single day of the year?  We can!
  Let us remember.....

I would love to see the ways your family is choosing to show gratitude this season!

Throw Kindness around like Confetti

Good Morning my beautiful friends! I would like to tell you about a wonderful opportunity you have!  St. Paul's is a church filled with really special people.  It is what makes us great! Due to the pandemic that we have found ourselves in, we are not able to see these great people! Despite not meeting we can still get to know these people and love them!  This is one of the sliver linings!

Remember VBS Buddies?  Our kiddos were matched up with members of our congregation who sent words of encouragement and love through the mail.  Well, this is the same thing....in reverse!

Our kiddos will be matched up with one of our congregation members and our children will be able to send words of encouragement, pictures, stories and love through the mail.  It is just one small way that we can spread love and kindness throughout our St. Paul's community!

So let's

and love our St. Paul's family!!

Google Classroom

Hello Friends!  Welcome to Sunday school kick off for the 2020-2021 school year!  It is starting out a bit different than most of us would like.  But that is OK!  We will find a way to find the good things about distance learning!  Just like we are going to try our best to find the best parts of church even though we are  physically distant.  Normally, Sunday school would start after 'Time for ALL God's Children'.  We will keep that the same.  Only instead of going to the classroom upstairs at church you will go to our google classroom.

Google Classroom Link

There you will find a video for the week, a worksheet that goes with the story, our Passport to Wonder message and other links.  There is even a link to send a prayer request to Paulie!!

Once you get to the Google Classroom you will be able to access everything by just clicking the icons.  To make the process easier everything you need will be posted to this blog.

This is your one stop shop for all things related to Christian Formation for ages birth-5th Grade at St. Paul's!  There is a link to story time, there are family activities you can participate in, and you can always contact me if you have questions.

I understand that this time is challenging.  The good news...we are loved by a God that is so much greater than we can imagine!  So we will remain #stpaulsstrong!

Remember never to hesitate to reach out to me for ANY reason!  It would make me so happy to connect with you!

St. Paul's UMC- Kicks off a new way to communicate!!!

St. Paul's United Methodist Church

As we move into our fall season we are finding new ways to connect with our wonderful congregation.  This blog will contain information and links that will keep our families connected and learning God's word.

Mrs. Nesbitt's Classroom- This is a google classroom for Sunday school!  It will be as close as we can come to an actual classroom for now.  Each item in the classroom will contain a link.  You will be able to watch a weekly video, print a corresponding worksheet or craft, watch the weekly passport message and even ask Paulie to pray with you!
